Nick Griffin urges members to help fund BNP by selling scrap metal
The Huffington Post reports that Nick Griffin has urged BNP members “to sell scrap metal to fund the cash-strapped far-right party. ” In December 2010, the last time the party declared its financial status, it owed £582,961 and had £15,846 in the bank.
On the face of it, few would be disappointed were the BNP to collapse – although one wonders if an even nastier group of thugs might take its place.
Griffin has written a book titled Who are the Mindbenders?, which claims to ‘expose’ a Jewish conspiracy in the media to promote “an endless diet of pro-multiracial, pro-homosexual, anti-British trash”. He has claimed that the Holocaust is ‘the Hoax of the Twentieth Century’ and ‘a mixture of Allied wartime propaganda, extremely profitable lie, and latter-day witch-hysteria’. In 2006, it was revealed that Griffin had named two of the pigs on his farm ‘Anne’ and ‘Frank’. When Griffin’s former MP, Alex Carlile, reported his racist rag ‘The Rune’ to the police, Griffin referred to him as “this bloody Jew … whose only claim is that his grandparents died in the Holocaust”.
